These Long Hand Made Brass Hook & Eyes were commonly used in the 17th century. Replacing points in the 1620's, they were used to hook breeches and doublets together. The extra long "hook" ensured that they did not pull out of the eye. Also suitable for cloak closures and other applications where hooks might be used.
