In run-away ads, portraits, genre art, advertisements and thefts we find handkerchiefs of many descriptions. Worn by women and men for fashion and practicality through out the 18th century and on in to the 19th century. Our fine cotton handkerchiefs are designed and colored based on the many original printed textiles we have studied over the years. This design is based on a stylized flower we have found in various India cottons. The colors are matched to the colors we have found in original prints.
