This wonderful "Yellow Chain" Block Printed Handkerchief is reproduced from the Susan W. Greene collection at Genesee Country Village & Museum. Dated to 1840, the original was block printed on silk. Its simplicity lends itself to a variety of applications. We have found similar designs dating as early as 1810.
